Your Role:
- To complete postal deliveries and collections of incoming/outgoing mail from departments and units.
- To sort and distribute all outgoing mail into various mail bags for collection by Royal Mail and Parcel Force.
- To maintain the fleet vehicle in line with ADSL processes and procedures, including carrying out regular checks.
- To liaise with all customers, the Authority and other users to ensure excellent customer service is delivered.
- To ensure all maintenance requirements within the building are managed effectively and reported in a timely manner.
- To report all Health and Safety defects and near misses to the Helpdesk.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: It is essential to have a GCSE level (or equivalent) Grade C in English Language and Maths.
- Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.
- Experience: Experience working within a face-to-face customer service role and the ability to be security cleared to ‘SC’ level (completed on site) is essential for this role.
- Skills: A strong skill set comprising excellent administrative and organisational skills, as well as the flexibility to prioritise work tasks is essential in this role. As is terrific customer service skills, strong attention to detail and a practical and proactive approach with the ability to show initiative. You must also be able to lift heavy objects.
