Are you an experience Design Engineer looking for a new and existing challenge? We are looking for someone to help with creating and designing bespoke solutions.

Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the team as a Design Engineer. Within this role you will be designing bespoke solutions to aid with the manufacture of electric motors, the solutions you create will cover manual jigs and fixtures through to full automated manufacturing cells.

Reporting to the Managing Director and Head of Engineering, you will take responsibility for all technical aspects within projects and will cover concept through to production design (full life cycle). You will be working closely with other departments to ensure that the quality of products delivered to customers is of the highest standard. You will engage with customers to understand their needs and build user requirements, take part in regular design reviews as well as supporting onsite visits to customers.

Electrified Automation release 10 products/ assembly's per year, so a key part of this role will be attending monthly design reviews.

Key Requirements:

You are an experienced mechanically biased design engineer or a mechanical design engineer, at least 3 years experience in a similar role.

Experience in using Solidworks CAD system, and GD&T.

Ability to take responsibility for product lifecycle from concept to production

Detailed orientated

Ability to deliver and work at pace
